Late Night Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Penn Valley

A late night traffic stop on Penn Valley Drive near Gateway Park led to the arrest of two individuals one on new charges and one for violation of probation. Sheriff Keith Royal says when deputies stopped the vehicle Wednesday night one suspect fled on foot and one, a Lyall James Stoutner, age 60, was detained.

Stoutner was arrested for possession of the methamphetamine and resisting officers.
The second suspect , Michael Patrick Story age 50, was later located in the area and taken into custody on a parole violation.
Both men were booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
