Three devastating hurricanes in a short period of time have prompted a local business owner to try to do something to help. David Gough owns Gold Run Laundromat in Grass Valley, in our shopping center here at KNCO, and says he was first struck by the images of Hurricane Harvey and the disaster in Houston…
Gough’s idea is to donate essentially what is an entire day’s pay to help out, and also encourage his customers to contribute, coming up on Thursday…
Gough’s laundromat features large commercial washers where you can clean items like sleeping bags, camping gear, and things you may otherwise not to be able to wash by yourself, so he calls it an opportunity to do something for yourself and also help out the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria at the same time. Gold Run Laundromat is at 1263 East Main Street, at the corner of Dorsey Drive.
