Law Enforcement to Get Computer Upgrade

A law enforcement computer upgrade will allow local agencies to find out more information about suspects. Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain Shannon Moon says the computer system upgrade will take place the entire month of March. Moon says the upgrade will allow any local agency to see any contact a suspect has had with another law enforcement agency.

Captain Moon says the Sheriff’s Office will be first to see the upgraded record management system. The Truckee Police, Grass Valley Police and Nevada City Police will follow. The upgrade will continue the effort bring local law enforcement closer together.
