Lawsuit Filed Against Suction Mining Regulations

A suction dredge miner  in Nevada County  says he has suffered under the new suction Mining regulations.

Dave Quinn  says he has joined with the Western Mining Alliance, the Public Lands for the People and the New Forty-niners as plaintiffs in a motion for a preliminary injunction against SB 670 and AB 120. Quinn says he and fellow miners  are awaiting  a July 23rd court decision  that may overturn current suction mining regulations.

The Center for Biological Diversity and the Department of Fish and Wildlife were named as Defendants in the motion for a preliminary injunction.
