Librarian Jessica Hudson says the idea came from talking to representatives from the Public Defender’s office. The private consultations will be held at the Madelyn Helling Library on Friday (February 7) from 3 to 5pm. This session will only be for criminal cases, but there will be a session on civil issues in March. Hudson says if these sessions turn out to be popular, the library will continue the program every month.

No appointment is needed, but you can call the library (265-7050) to reserve a time, which will allow a consultant to more thoroughly research your specific issue. The consultations will be held in the Prospector and Gold Rush Rooms in the Technology Center.
