Leona’s Luau Benefit for American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary  has two major fundraisers,   the annual poppy distribution and   “Leona’s  Luau” that is happening this weekend. Chairperson for the Luau, Melise Munroe says the Luau  will feature  tropical decorations and cuisine Ukelale music and following dinner a show with Hawaiian dancers.

Munrow says if you don’t have a Hawaiian shirt to wear they will have them for sale for $5 as a benefit for Sammies Friends.

Tickets to Leona’s Luau are $20 a person or $17.50 a person for a table of 8. The Luau is Saturday night April 26. No host bar opens at 4:30pm dinner is served at 6:00. Tickets are available at the  VSO office in the basement of the Grass Valley Veterans memorial building or call 432-0425.
