Less Enrollment More COVID Relief Sierra College

Enrollment continues to be down by double-digits at community colleges, in the wake of the pandemic. At Sierra College, which includes the Nevada County campus, registration declined another 10-percent for this semester. Pre-pandemic, in-person learning at Sierra College was 80-percent. But Morgan says the change in format hasn’t really been a factor in the declining enrollment, with students not asking for a lot more classroom instruction.
