The Library will be adding a total of seven new permanent positions, some part-time and some full-time, and two temporary part-time positions, located throughout the six branches of the County library system. Other changes will include more books and materials, new computers for patrons and staff, and an increased focus on children’s programs…
While some of the longer hours will take effect in November, other changes will be made after the first of the year-including the Grass Valley branch opening on Mondays. Those hours were cut about a decade ago due to the economic downturn.
