Lincoln 27 Bear River 14

The Bear River Bruins dropped their opener of the Pioneer Valley League, losing to the Fighting Zebras 27-14.  Stephen Taylor scored both Bear River touchdowns and the Bruins lost more than just the final score as leading tackler Austin Baze was injured in the first half and did not return.  Lincoln did not have to punt in the game.  Next up for the Bruins is another home PVL contest against Foothill next Friday night.
