Lincoln 33 Bear River 13

The Bear River Bruins suffered their first loss of the season as the Fighting Zebras pulled away for a 33-13 victory in the Pioneer Valley League opener for both teams.  The Bruins committed five turnovers in the game, several of which led to Zebra touchdowns, including a 19-0 halftime lead.  Bear River did close to 19-13, but could get no closer.  The Bruins stay on the road next Friday when they travel to Foothill to battle the Mustangs in PVL play.
