Literacy Makes a Difference

Literacy- the ability to read- makes a difference in a person’s life. It is an issue around the world, even in Nevada County. Alan Archer from ReadUp talks about International Literacy Day and the importance of learning to read.

850 million people worldwide cannot read. The United States has its share of non-readers too and its a concern.
