Little League Opening Day

Nevada City Little League Opening Day is this Saturday April 14th. The day begins with a pancake breakfast prepared by the Nevada county Sheriff’s Association and served by Nevada City Council members at Pioneer park in Nevada City. Sid Heaton the President of the Nevada City Little League says get  ready for a full day of little league baseball in Nevada City.

Tee-Ballers and Farm Leaguers on the field until 2:00, Minor Leaguers from 2:00-4:30, and two full Major games providing the nightcap at 5:00 and 7:00. Meanwhile, the Nevada City Junior Giants and Tigers square off down at the Junior field starting at 1:00. Pioneer park is on Nimrod Street in Nevada City.
