Local Agencies Supporting Out of Area Fire Fighting

Firefighters from Nevada County Consolidated Fire and Grass Valley Fire Department are assisting crews from around the State with suppression efforts on several fires in Northern California. Grass Valley Fire Chief Mark Buttron says some resources have returned but many are being reassigned to other fires.

Also on the Eiler fire is OES Water Tender 42 operated by Nevada County Consolidated Fire. A line medic team including a Nevada County Consolidated firefighter is assigned to the Beaver Fire on the Klamath National Forest and a Grass Valley firefighter is assigned as a Field Observer-Trainee on the Eiler Fire.
