Local Author Diane Covington-Carter Launches Latest Memoir

Local writer and photographer, Diane Covington-Carter is ready to launch her third memoir at a special book signing event at Summer Thymes Bakery and Restaurant this (Wednesday) evening. It’s the story of her passion to spend her third semester of college in France. A plan that didn’t work out until much later in life.

But, as she learned life has a way of changing your plans. Throughout the years she continued to hold on to the dream, and at age 50, she finally made it to Provence, albeit, 30 years late.

She stayed there for 8 months and the result was her new memoir.

The Book launch will be from 5 to 7 pm at Summer Thymes, 231 Colfax Ave. Grass Valley,  Wednesday  evening July 20.
