Local Burn Bans Lifted- Permits Required

One day after the state wide burning ban was lifted, local fire officials have lifted their burn ban. Lynne Tolmachoff,  spokesperson for Cal Fire, says the weather conditions have allowed the burning of some materials. She says some of the restrictions will remain until wetter weather arrives.

A fire permit can be obtained from your local Cal Fire station. A call to the Air Resources Control Board is necessary to determine if wind conditions will allow burning.
