Conference Hosted by Local Official not too Local- but Highlights Nevada County

Nevada County Auditor Controller Marcia Salter is in Sacramento, hosting a conference that some are wondering why it’s not being hosted in Nevada County.
Once a year the California  State Auditor Controller is required by statute to meet with the 58 County Auditor Controllers.  Salter says she volunteered to organize the event and this year for her association and explains why the conference is not happening in Nevada County.

Wine from Nevada City Winery was also purchased for the event.   The two day Auditor Controllers Conference  is underway now in Sacramento at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento.
