Local Dentists ‘Give Kids a Smile’

Some local children, whose parents normally wouldn’t be able to afford it, are getting some free dental work done. The ‘Give Kids a Smile’ event is a collaboration of several local dentists. Six different area dentists will be working the event–four on Friday and two on Saturday at three different offices around the area. Pfaffinger says good dental hygiene is important for kids, even with baby teeth. He also says parents should be involved when it comes to a child’s brushing their teeth…

Pfaffinger also reminds that kids floss their teeth, even if it’s just to develop the habit for later in life. The ‘Give Kids a Smile’ event is going on nationwide as part of National Dental Health Month.
