S-B 1, which is the Road Repair and Accountability Act that raised the gasoline taxes effective yesterday, will include three projects in Nevada County. Two of them are street repairs in Grass Valley, and CalTrans spokeswoman Liza Whitmore says the other one is improvement of a drainage and culvert system along the Highway 49 corridor…
Although the projects are “accelerated”, Whitmore says design and public hearings aren’t scheduled until the year 2020, with construction not set to begin until 2022.
