Local Health Programs Care for Infants and Children

This week is Public Health Week and Donna Fry, who is Nevada County’s Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Coordinator, says the county has a huge number of health programs available.

There are also preventive programs in place, like a team-up between the Public Health Office and the CHP to make sure everyone has a car seat for their children.  The Health Department also hosts a year-round immunization clinic.
