Local Presentation on Changes to Health Care

Many people were able to learn about the changes coming up in the health care system, and many may also have more questions. The Community Support Network of Nevada County held a forum on the topic yesterday.

That’s Dr. Joe Britton, who is the Vice President of Medical Staff Affairs at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, and one of the guest speakers at the meeting. There were about 75 people in attendance, with various opinions coming into and going out of the presentation. Here’s a sampling of them.

All of the changes are necessary with full implementation of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise referred to as ‘Obamacare’, coming next year.
