Local Students at USC for State Science Fair

7th grade students from Nevada County are at the USC Science Center in Los Angeles today for the finals in the State Science Fair.  Jeff Petty’s son Jonathan is a 7th grader from Clear Creek School  and explains how students get to  the finals.

Two other  7th graders at the competition are Sarah Shine and Catherine Snook from Union Hill School.    Dan Dummett    is the Nevada County Science Fair Coordinator and a science teacher at Union Hill School, and explains Sara Shines project.

The Judging is underway today and The Nevada County students should find out how they placed later today.
