Locals Protesting The Pipeline

A local group concerned with Climate Change is protesting a major pipeline project in the Brunswick Basin. The Nevada County Climate Change Coalition is upset about the Keystone XL Pipeline slated to carry crude oil from Alberta Canada across the US to be prepared for export.

Organizations protesting the pipeline believes the report was heavily influenced by the oil industry.

The peaceful protest began around 5:00PM and will move onto the Brunswick Overpass and then finishes around 6:00 PM.
