Lockdown North Auburn For Nevada Co Suspect Search

The Placer County Sheriff’s Department told residents in the North Auburn area, Wednesday afternoon, to stay indoors, while the search continues for a possible armed suspect. They’re looking in an area around Bell Road, New Airport Road, and Old Airport Road.The suspect is 22-year-old Tyler Potwin who, according to the Auburn Journal, has a felony warrant out of Nevada County and may be armed with multiple guns. He’s described as a white male, 5 foot-11, with heavy build, bald, possibly wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white shoes.
