LOP Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest

Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Lake of the Pines community by Lake of the Pines security about a loud party that was creating a disturbance at 3 o’clock Sunday morning in the 23 thousand block of St. Andrews Ct. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says there was underage drinking going on at the party. Deputies also observed a vehicle, a light colored Chevy Impala, driving away slowly. According to Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal, the Driver of the Impala, 19 year oldĀ  Victor Zatarian , of Auburn, turned around and accelerated toward the deputy.

Deputies located Zatarian and he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Wayne Brown correctional facility on 50 thousand dollars bail.
