After 19 days, evacuations, and 23-hundred acres burned, the Lowell Fire is now 100 percent contained. The fire started July 25 in the You Bet area, where several residents were forced out of their homes for several days. According to the CalFire incident page, two structures were destroyed and one was damaged. There were six injuries, including a U-S Forest Service firefighters with severe burns. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
