Lunar New Year Celebration, Bike Ride, Canceled

Nevada City’s Lunar New Year celebration, including the parade, scheduled for Saturday in Downtown Nevada City, has been canceled due to snow in the forecast. Organizers are worried about the safety of the participants as well as the public. Also, the Jim Rogers Memorial Bike Ride, which promotes distracted driving awareness, has also been called off due to inclement weather in the forecast.
