Machete and Drugs

A man found wandering near several homes armed with a machete is in jail. Nevada County Sheriff’s Lieutenant John Kropp says 28 year old Jeffrey Bodde of Nevada City was found wandering through a wooded area near Pine Woods Road near Nevada City, late Tuesday night. The Lieutenant says a caller said they could see a man with a flashlight near their home.

Bodde was taken into custody for suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and violation of probation. The machete was taken as evidence.
