Magnolia School Ready For Classes

Stolen iPad’s and computers are on order at Magnolia Intermediate School, covered by insurance, about a week since the break-in and vandalism. Pleasant Ridge School District Superintendent Rusty Clark says he’s not sure the replacements will arrive the first day of classes on Wednesday but staff and students should still be in good shape…

The suspects also used fire extinguishers on all rooms they could access, including the main office and music room, as well as the computer lab. Clark says the classrooms could not be accessed. Cleanup has been completed. Clark says this was more of a malicious than criminal act…

While three arrests have been made, none are directly linked to the incident, with other suspects still at large. The Sacramento Kings Foundation has also solicited donations but a status has been unavailable. Clark says the Foundation is also planning a spirit rally for students. No date has been set yet.
