Hospitality House routinely hosts cleanups of homeless camps throughout the year. But the one that’s being conducted Thursday morning is their most ambitious one, because of its multiagency collaboration. And that not only increases the likelihood of returning to more permanent housing, but also reduces the fire danger from camps in the process. Meanwhile, Trump says participation from volunteers has exceeded their goal of 50, or around 60. And they’re reminded to bring gloves, a shovel, if they have one, sunscreen, and a truck, if possible. Also, wear long pants and hiking shoes or boots. And they’ll be visible in that area between 8am and 1pm on Thursday.
