Major Property Damage Following an Accident on Rough and Ready HWY

A 27-year old Grass Valley man did major property damage while driving under the influence of drugs at a high rate of speed. CHP Information Officer Marc Morrison says the crash happened South of Mills road on the Rough and Ready Hwy around 2 am this morning. Officer Morrison says the man allowed his vehicle to cross the double yellow lines, then off the side of the road into a private drive way.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
