Man Accidentally Run Over Near Penn Valley

A Yuba City man is still recovering from major injuries, after he was accidentally run over by a driver in near Penn Valley earlier this week. According to a California Highway Patrol news release…the driver, 65-year-old Jack Baldwin, was attempting to turn his car around on his driveway on Melody Road Monday afternoon. 30-year-old Stephen Kelly and another man were attempting to pull a tarp out of the way of the car tires when Baldwin accidentally hit the accelerator, along with the brakes, and struck Kelly. Kelly was knocked over some bookshelves and down a hillside embankment, and the car ended up on top of him.
