Man Arrested For Vehicle Theft, False I-D

Some suspicious activity in a grocery store parking lot has led to an arrest of a man with a stolen car. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Brian Blakemore says because of previous criminal activity, an officer was patrolling the area of the Pine Creek Shopping Center at McKnight Way and LaBarr Meadows Road early yesterday (Monday) morning, and saw a man sitting in a car parked near a dumpster. It also turned out that the driver’s real name was Logan Minyard, not Jordan, who was possibly a brother. Blakemore says they’ve been getting more and more cases of suspects using a false I-D…

And that is the case here. 38 year-old Logan Minyard is faced with several charges including vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and using a false name. Blakemore says a small amount of drug paraphernalia was also found, and some ‘identity theft items’ including checkbooks.
