The woman was able to flee to a neighbor’s residence, but in doing so she fell several times causing severe abrasions to her face and hands. Capt. Powell says when deputies arrived the suspect was attempting to flee but deputies  were able to take him into custody. There were also  reports of a gun shot but deputies are investigating to determine who actually fired the round. It could have been a neighbor attempting to break up the fight.
