Man Busted for Cocaine, Ecstasy Possession

A Nevada County Sheriff’s deputy made an arrest early Saturday morning after pulling over a vehicle for having a tail light that was out.  The vehicle was stopped at  Rough and Ready Highway and Adam Avenue shortly after midnight. Four people were inside the vehicle and one of the passengers, 21 year old Clinton Lee  Nicholson, was found to have an outstanding warrant.  Nevada County Sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Werner says a search of Nicholson’s person uncovered controlled substances.

Nicholson was booked on numerous charges related to the possession, transportation, and sale of narcotics.
