Man Faces Arson Trial In Nevada City Fire

A local man now faces an arson trial regarding a large fire that destroyed a vacant home and damaged a nearby office building in downtown Nevada City in January. Newell says Tomlinson, also faces burglary and trespassing charges, for breaking into the home, which was across from the Bonanza Market. And since more than one building was burned, he says that adds an enhancement to the arson count, which means a potentially longer sentence.
