Man Faces Trial In Brutal March Killing

The man accused of killing a 67-year-old Nevada County man 9 months ago now faces trial. Following a preliminary hearing, the judge in the case ruled that there is enough evidence to try 35-year-old Jason Schuller on all the charges, including the murder, as well as reckless evasion of a peace officer…

Alexander declined to provide theories on a motive until the trial begins. After the killing, authorities say Schuller sped away in a car and led officers on a three-county pursuit before being taken into custody. He is scheduled to be arraigned on January 23rd, at which time a trial date might also be set.
