Man Killed After Encounter With Two Deputies

Royal says within minutes of arriving at the home, the deputies were confronted by Kirk, who thrust open the front door, displaying a rifle at the deputies, who then shot him. The deputies have been placed on routine administrative leave, pending the outcome of an investigation…

Royal did not say what motivated Kirk to attack his mother. But he did say that the Sheriff’s Department has had numerous contacts with Kirk regarding drunkeness and violence.

My good friend.. While "run-ins" may have happened in past, police should be trained to handle instead they prefer a license to kill. Another deplorable case in mismanagement of circumstances.. Mentally unstable, bi polar, suicidal, etc. = death by police in U.s.a.
