Scales says the shooting reportedly took place in the middle of the road, with the male suspect taking off in a vehicle of unknown description. He says it doesn’t appear that the victim lived in the area…

Scales says he doesn’t believe the shooting was random, that the victim and suspect knew each other. But he didn’t know what the nature of their relationship is nor what the motive could be, as the investigation deepens.
