Man Tries to Trick Young GIrl

A child says a man tried to lure her into his car in Lake Wildwood on Friday. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a ten year old girl was walking home from school on Lake Wildwood Drive after three in the afternoon. The sheriff says a man in a .older Red Honda stopped and asked the girl if she wanted to see a popular actor.

The child had been told not to speak with strangers and walked quickly home and reported the incident. The Sheriff says anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 265-7880. Currently no suspect has been identified.
