Manufacturing Day is Manufacturing Month Thanks to Sierra College

Sierra College is taking Manufacturing Day one step further and making October Manufacturing Month.
Locally, Sierra College has partnered with a national movement of manufactures and fabricators to help inspire students to explore manufacturing.
Carol Pepper-Kittredge, Director, Sierra College Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT), explains the relationship.

Schools in Nevada County are invited to participate in the program. and have access to field trips for which Sierra College will cover costs as well as provide professional development for teachers in support of the effort.
