It’s starting to get down to crunch time for the Nevada County citizens group that is charged with putting together a medical marijuana ordinance. The Community Advisory Group, or CAG, meets tomorrow (Tuesday)–the sixth of eight scheduled meetings. County Community Development Agency Director Sean Powers says the meetings so far have been more educational in nature…
Some CAG members have suggested that more than the eight scheduled meetings might be needed. Powers says that could happen…
A new member has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the CAG, after one of the 16 members got a job offer and left the county. Powers says the new member is up to speed and won’t cause any delays. Topics on tomorrow’s agenda include public health, water, and other natural resources. The meeting is from 2 to 5pm at the Foothill Events Center on Idaho Maryland Road.
