Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says his department is beginning to ramp up enforcement of the Medical Marijuana Ordinance the county adopted in May.
At that point the sheriff says they will abate the marijuana and those costs can be referred to the property owner. So far the Sheriff says notices have been issued to 10 marijuana growers in the county for failure to comply with the new ordinance.
Also, yesterday the County Board of Supervisors amended the section of the Marijuana Ordinance which deals with administrative citations.
