Marijuana Ordinance Violation in Smartsville Area

A compliance check with Nevada County’s medical marijuana ordinance has turned up an out of the ordinary pot grow. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the find was made around 11am Friday morning.

34 year-old David Wayne Halliday was arrested.

Royal says the case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
