Maximum Enforcement in Place

New Year’s Eve isn’t until Monday night, but the Highway Patrol wants to remind you that their ‘maximum enforcement’ effort is still in effect this weekend.

Officer Justin Barnhouse says that means you could be subject to a sobriety test, and maybe even arrested. Barnhouse says maximum enforcement means all available officers are on patrol.

The holiday enforcement period started before Christmas and will last until January second.
