“McCourtney” Fire Burning near Camp Far West

A vegetation fire off of McCourtney Road near Perimeter Road in Nevada County has scrambled resources this afternoon. CalFire’s Emergency Command Center reporting the blaze has consumed about 25 acres., 40 percent contained but forward progress is slowing. there are no evacuations at this time.
The Fire is   located East of Camp Far West Reservoir, burning in oak woodland with a moderate rate of spread.
