Measure N Money Coming

The half-cent sales tax that Grass Valley voters passed in November is now in effect, and the city should begin seeing some of that money soon. According to last November’s Voter Reference Guide, Measure N will allow for the hiring of five police officers, four firefighters, and an estimated seven million dollars worth of road repair and maintenance over the next ten years. Miller says the first check from the state will arrive in June.
