Measure N Would Mean More GV Revenue

Grass Valley’s cannabis business license tax is getting 61-percent support on election night as the City Council is scheduled to review an ordinance, at its next meeting, that would allow dispensaries to open. Kiser estimates the tax could raise as much as 200-thousand dollars a year for Grass Valley. He says the city has been observing how Nevada City’s ordinance has been working before taking action on its own plan.
