Judge Sean Dowling to rule on a preliminary injunction regarding the Measure S ballot language. Dowling made no decision in court this morning following brief statements by the petitioner and county counsel in regard to the impartiality of the language or the impact on the election if the language is ruled to be not impartial. Attorney for the petitioner, Stephen Munkelt, is pleased with the status of the hearing at this point.

Judge Dowling stated the drafter of the ballot language in his word “appears to have missed the mark on impartiality”. But he also needs to consider the potential negative impact on the election process.
Dowling will provide a written ruling to both the petitioner and county counsel on whether to invoke a preliminary injunction sometime this afternoon.
KNCO will update as we lean more.

Well, this is the capper.
An utterly partisan and incompetent elections office headed by the not-too-bright of a bulb Greg Diaz.
He should have been watching it all like a hawk but instead just goes along with the thugs he rubs elbows with every day.
It is disgusting, incompetent, and symptomatic of the vast changes needed at Rood Center to bring anything back toward balance.
The whole place is owned by the Sheriff and his people over at Republican Federated Women of Nevada County.
One thing for sure, they are well organized, disciplined, and utterly ruthless.
