MEB2 Turkey Trot Enters 10th Year on Thanksgiving

The MEB-2 Turkey Trot returns to Nevada Union Hooper Stadium Thanksgiving morning for the 10th annual Run Walk. Michael Bratton says the event was started by the Bratton Family after the death of their oldest son Michael E. Bratton the Second to Suicide.

Over the years the event has raised enough money to start up A New Day Counseling Center.

The Turkey Trot is also the final race in the Grand Prix Series of races and attracts several talented runners. But there’s also a separate walking course and Bratton’s daughter, Jennifer Maier says there are free kids activities.
