Memorial Meal Slated for Sunday

A meal is being served on Sunday from 12-4 at the Nevada City Veteran’s Hall in memory of Thomas Streicher, a local homeless advocate and the founder of Divine Sparks.  Streicher who had provided numerous services for the homeless and Native American population both in Nevada County and on a reservation in South Dakota was killed in a single car accident in Wyoming last week.  Streicher was 58.streicher
